In last week’s episode, we visited the Ochoco National Forest to explore and relax while waiting for our appointment to fix our truck camper. We liked the area so much that we decided to stay a second week, but moved up the road a bit.
This makes things more *interesting* to see how far we can go on our tanks! And… we’re still figuring out this mountain weather thing!
Our Camping Locationsโบ๐บ๏ธ๐
We’re sharing our camping and other locations on iOverlander (boondocking, etc.) and Campendium (established campsites).

We also have a currently free map on Google with all of the places we’ve stayed along with the related video and links to more detailed reviews on iOverlander , Campendium and Google Maps.
Our Hiking Trails๐ถ๐ป๐ฅพ๐ถ๐ปโโ๏ธ
This trail started out reasonable enough. A little snow, a little mud, and some fun up and down hills as we made our way to the top of the mountain. Unfortunately, mother nature had other ideas and decided to throw us a bit of a curve ball. We were only able to make it about halfway until having to turn around. I wished we had enough time to try it again, but guess we’ll have to save that for another time. Where we parked actually removed some of the beginning of the trail too!
