STUFF WE TALKED ABOUT IN THE VIDEO πβπ
Rec Pro 13.5 Low-Profile Quiet Air Conditioner with heat pump – This is the unit we purchased back at the beginning of 2022. This has a lot of features, so definitely recommend to go out to the Rec Pro site!
Sirocco 360-degree fan – I know this fan isn’t cheap, but BOY does it work well. You can move it around to help push air into the bedroom, use it to help with airflow when the windows are open.
And, best of all, we can angle it JUST RIGHT so that at night, air blows on Gary and not me!
This guy is pretty quiet and is directly wired to 12V. We literally use this every day, and if we’re not traveling, it’s on 24/7.
This is the original video we did just a few weeks after installing
And this is the follow-up video after discussing our humidity concerns with Rec Pro/Houghton
Our Camping LocationsβΊπΊοΈπ
We’re sharing our camping and other locations on iOverlander (boondocking, etc.) and Campendium (established campsites).
β Penpac RV – not the typical place to stay overnight, but it’s saving us a TON of money. I started looking at long-term hotels and Air BnBs in the area and we’d be paying well into the thousands for the amount of time we’re likely to spend here. Not the prettiest of places, but the price is right! And hopefully we’ll get started on the camper shortly!
Our Journey MapβΊπ₯ΎπΊοΈπ
We also have a currently free map on Google with all of the places we’ve stayed along with the related video and links to more detailed reviews on iOverlander , Campendium and Google Maps.
