In this video, we’re explaining why we chose to upgrade our RV handrail and how we installed it.
Products We Talked About:
Lend-a-Hand Handrail – This was great for being able to get into the camper, especially when we’re on the truck. If you’re like me, you always have your hands full and just getting the door open can be a challenge! It’s nice to have this handrail that can help balance me when I’m a bit off-kilter.
RV Door Lock (V4) – This is great so we can lock and unlock our RV door without keys and improves safety by getting rid of that generic RV lock.
Quick tip – make sure it’s a V4 generation, which allows you to silence that VERY LOUD beep when locking/unlocking. Just hold the “1” on the keypad for 5 seconds until you hear a faint beep – that will toggle the sound on and off.
Screen Door Handle – This makes your life SO much easier by just pulling your screen door in rather than having to slide the plastic part of the screen over then messing with the screen handle. It’s definitely worth the effort to add this to your rig!
Our Camping Locations⛺🗺️📌
We’re sharing our camping and other locations on iOverlander (boondocking, etc.) and Campendium (established campsites).
✅Penpac RV – not the typical place to stay overnight, but it’s saving us a TON of money. I started looking at long-term hotels and Air BnBs in the area and we’d be paying well into the thousands for the amount of time we’re likely to spend here. Not the prettiest of places, but the price is right! And hopefully we’ll get started on the camper shortly!
Our Journey Map⛺🥾🗺️📌
We also have a currently free map on Google with all of the places we’ve stayed along with the related video and links to more detailed reviews on iOverlander , Campendium and Google Maps.
