Sometimes you just stumble into fun situations, and this one was certainly it!

🛻⛺WHERE WE STAYED⛺🛻:

• Falls of the Lake County Park – we stayed in campground #1 for about 5 days (electric) and campground #2 for 3 days (non-electric).  Beautiful sites, right on the river into the chain.  We were there over Labor Day weekend and it’s a definite favorite with the locals.  But in a good way – everyone was having fun but not too rowdy.  Loved waking up to a view of the river.  Would definitely go again. 

🍽️🐟🍽️ WHERE WE ATE: 🍽️🐟🍽️

• PJ’s Burger Barn, Woodruff, WI – Looked like they were still working on the place on the outside (i.e. hole in the wall), but the inside was pretty cool!  GREAT burgers and a fun, relaxing jaunt after watching the lumberjack show. 
• Deadhorse Lodge and Sunken Saloon – Although we didn’t go here, we were chatting with a couple who comes up regularly from Texas during the warmer months, and they swear by this place’s pizza. Burgers are also supposed to be really good. We’re making a not for future travels!

🥾🚴‍♀️🛶🐟WHERE WE PLAYED:🐟🛶🚴‍♀️🥾

• Scheers Lumberjack Shows – We were able to catch the last show of the season and was pretty fun and very family-friendly.  More entertainment that competition but still good to watch.  You watch the show on an outdoor amphitheater overlooking a small lake.  Worth visiting!  
• Gateway Lodge and Resort – Went there for a drink. They have chickens on their front porch, ha! Bought wood here as well. Bar was ok – no one else was there and it was a bit awkward. But chickens! \
