Boy, it’s fun to get a little off the beaten path and explore some pretty awesome areas that are not as crowded as some of the destination locations in Utah. But, of course, we visit a state park with a ROUGH hike – and the area looks a lot like Ireland, in our opinion…. let…
We’ve been thoroughly enjoying our hikes in Utah the last many weeks, but THIS week was simply rough. We hit our climbing limit on this slot canyon and then Bryce backed it up with a posthole experience we won’t forget!
In this episode, we’re visiting Goblin Valley State Park in Utah. We were able to head onto two great hikes there along with some AMAZING BLM areas just outside of the park. We run into some weather troubles then head just outside of Capitol Reef for one TIGHT slot canyon!
We have been LOVING our time in Utah, and this week is no exception. We head out to explore several interesting BLM sites and take an AMAZING hike into a slot canyon – all without setting foot in an official state or federal park! And did I say FREE camping?!
